Tips for Handling Timestamp Delays in BUCLOCATE
Submit a Ticket/Report:
Provide the last known timestamp, the vehicle registration number, and the driver’s phone number (if necessary).
Submitting detailed information helps us investigate the issue faster and more accurately.
Monitor via LiveTable Pages:
Keep refreshing the LiveTable page in BUCLOCATE to monitor the vehicle’s latest timestamp. This allows you to see if the GPS device has reconnected to the network.
Contact the Driver:
Confirm with the driver the vehicle’s current location and report this to us. This helps us identify areas with weak telco signals, which may cause the delay.
Ensure the GPS Device is Properly Installed:
Double-check that the GPS device is securely installed and connected in the vehicle. A loose connection or poor installation can also cause tracking issues.
Check Network Coverage:
If the timestamp delays frequently occur in certain regions, it could be due to poor mobile network coverage. Clients can try to identify these areas by tracking when and where delays happen, and report this pattern to us for further investigation.
Be Patient During Network Outages:
In cases of known network outages or severe weather conditions affecting mobile services, delays may be unavoidable. The BUCLOCATE system will update the vehicle’s location as soon as the signal is restored.
Provide Regular Feedback:
Continuous feedback helps us improve BUCLOCATE’s performance. Report recurring issues or provide suggestions through our ticketing system.
